Free Minnesota DVS Permit Practice Test Three 2025

Like the Wild knowing and practicing the fundamentals of hockey, you must learn the rules of the road to obtain a Minnesota learner’s permit. Part of becoming a skillful and responsible driver is understanding traffic laws and following safe driving practices. Your ability to recognize and read road signs, determine rights-of-way, and acknowledge parking restrictions will start you on the path to extraordinary driving skills. If you are unsure where to begin, it would be wise to find a study resource that can assess your current knowledge and facilitate your learning of what you don’t know. By identifying these knowledge gaps, you can develop a more concentrated study plan.

While there are multiple requirements you must meet to get your learner’s permit, one of the most difficult is passing the official driver’s written knowledge test. Our free Minnesota DVS Permit Practice Test provides competent instruction to help you meet the challenges of the official knowledge test. You will be required to answer 80% of the 40 questions correctly to receive a passing score. The practice test includes 40 multiple-choice questions to assess your readiness for the official knowledge test and determine your deficiencies. These questions are like the ones you will see on the official knowledge test. You’ll be able to get a real sense of what to expect. While there are various on-line resources you could use, the practice test offers the best guidance available.

This Permit Practice Test uses reliable information that you can use to draw logical conclusions about the questions on the official knowledge test. It is based on the most recent Minnesota DVS driver’s manual (Minnesota DMV Handbook (MN Driver's Manual) 2025) and up to date as of February 2025. The practice test outperforms any study guide that you may use to provide sufficient preparation for the official knowledge test. Study guides prepare you by memorizing the answers to the questions without offering supportive information. If you get a question wrong on the practice test, you will get a detailed explanation of the correct answer. This information will equip you with the skills to pass the official knowledge test.

If you think navigating the Land of 10,000 Lakes may be a bit much for your motion sickness, check out the practice tests for other U.S. states and Washington D.C. at https://driving-tests.org/academy/drivers-license.
